CA Priyanka Birla

Priyanka is an associate member of the ICAI since 2004 and a member of the Abu Dhabi Chapter since 2016. She was associated with the ICAI Dubai Chapter prior to moving to Abu Dhabi and have volunteered for Chapters’ activities in past.

She has been in UAE for around 10 years and have gained professional experience across various domains within finance with multinational organisations – KPMG , Schlumberger. A dynamic and versatile individual recently ventured into entrepreneurship as a Business Partner for Nimai Management Consultants, Abu Dhabi.

She is also a Certified Yoga Instructor and enthusiastically participate in various charitable and CSR initiatives.

CA Anand Gupta

Anand is an associate member of ICAI. He is also a qualified CFA (US) and CISA. He is in the GCC region for last 14 years and worked in UAE – Dubai, Bahrain, Qatar and currently in UAE – Abu Dhabi for last two years. He worked with KPMG, Ernst & Young, Elan holdings (Qatar), Allianz Insurance etc.

Anand volunteered EIRC from 1996-1998 when he was a CA student and volunteered for ICAI ready reckoner, Annual events and CA functions in EIRC Region.

Anand was the member of executive committee of Bahrain Chapter of ICAI for around one and half year during 2006 to 2008. He also volunteered in Dubai Chapter and Doha Chapter looking after professional events, meet and greet delegates, supporting Treasury activities etc.

Anand has Passion to meet people, develop networking, help each other and serve the society and professional community. He believes that he can contribute in identifying the prospective speakers, increasing the membership base of the chapter, and work with the team to enhance brand ICAI Abu Dhabi Chapter.

CA Ajay Singhvi

Ajay is an associate member of ICAI and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA-UK). He is an active member of Abu Dhabi Chapter since 2002.

Currently he is working with CERT, Abu Dhabi as Group Financial Controller. Prior to this, he worked as a Financial Controller with ZADCO for 4 years and Corporate Finance Manager with Al Mansoori Specialized Engineering for 13 years. He is having more than 20 years of post-qualification experience in the areas of Project Management, Financial Management, Corporate Finance & Accounting and Audits.

During 2003-2004, Ajay was Treasurer of Al Jazira Toastmasters Club and VP Education during the year 2005-2006. He is active member of the same toastmasters’ club.

He consider himself a hard worker and determined person and believes in his commitment to excellence, his ability in assuming strategic positions and contributing towards the success of the team goals.

CA Kushal Chordia

Kushal is an associate member of ICAI. He qualified in May 2014 and worked with affiliate firms of Grant Thornton International and Ernst Young in India. He moved to Abu Dhabi during 2017 and joined Emirates Advanced Investments Group (now Yas Holding) as a Senior Internal Auditor. .

Kushal organized a number of social events like Debate Competition in regional schools, Food and Clothes Donation drives for needy people, Distribution of foods to animals, Blood Donation Camps etc. at City and District level in Rajasthan. Kushal was actively engaged in organizing various Professional, Social, Sports and educational events at Rajasthan Vidhyarthi Griha, Mumbai and also acted as Editor of RVG Magazine “SAMVAD” for year 2013 and 2014.

CA Ambati Rajesh Reddy

Rajesh is an associate member of ICAI and a certified CISA from ISACA, USA, and have been associated with the Abu Dhabi chapter since 2016. He is a rank holder in CA examination. He is currently working as an Assistant Manager with Baker Tilly Chartered Accountants, Abu Dhabi.

His expertise lies in accounting and auditing with over 2 years of post-qualification and 5 years of pre-qualification experience with reputed audit firms.

He, being a recentl qualified, and up to date with the change in ICAI curriculum, can help student community in UAE to cope with the arising challenges due to the introduction of the new curriculum. With this continued theme of pragmatism, He is keen on working on various initiatives for students such as creating awareness for prospective students, mentoring students, articleship assistance, conducting mock tests, etc.,

His core competencies include inclination towards IT developments, content writing, organizing social events, etc., which will help him bring in innovative ideas and methods of approaching things differently for the chapter activities. He wish to dedicate his time and energy in organizing activities, seminars, conferences and competitions of the chapter.

He believes that his experience in representing and leading the student committee during his articleship, combined with his professional and personal experience will help him to serve the Chapter for the better. He is excited to ardently take the opportunity
